What about T-Jack ?
This device allow deaf or hard of hearing people to use their telephone and listen multimedia contents. Using a simple jack socket and a technology already embedded in a majority of hearing aids, the T loop or magnetic loop. With a small size, it could go unnoticed and be used everywhere. Moreover, our T-Jack has been selected to participate at the “Défi H”, a national competition launched by Sogeti.
Encourage training, professional integration and the maintenance of handicapped persons jobs : this is the “Défi H” which awards prestigious schools thinking about handicap.
The principle of “Défi H”, organised by Sogeti, is simple. This year, 8 teams, composed by 4 students realise a project in order to keep professional integration of handicapped people. Each team is accompanied by a Sogeti coach and to succeed the project. Moreover, to stay close to the final users, the team have to collaborate with an association concerned by the issue.
We are all students at Polytech Grenoble working on a “Défi H” project. Four of us, Guillemette, Lucille, Lydia and Florian have started this project. Studying in Health Information Technologies, we put in place all the organisation and communication around this project. Three students in Industrial Computing and Instrumentation joined the team. Pierre, Erik and Vinicius are going to complete our technical knowledges to carry out successfully this innovative idea !
